Go Vertical SCS Local Results

Conor cops a rest on lead.

TeamPRG went vertical at Go Vertical on May 5, 2014. Great climbing by Lucy, Ella, Anu, Ben, Noah, Griffin, Tyler, Casey, Leilani, Gabby, Conor, Maggie, Alex and Olivia. The food truck made up for the long lines. 

Tino from GV graciously posted the following on facebook giving credit to the youth climbers:

"We from Go Vertical in Philadelphia want to say thank you to USA Climbing for letting us host a local event and to all of the teams of crushers (and their families) that came out to support the comp and impressed us to no end! Hopefully you enjoyed the routes and the comp as much as we did! It was a great learning experience for us, as our first USAC event, and have already started thinking about ways to make it better for next year. I must remark on how impressed we were by the maturity of all of the competitors, how strong the Capital Region Youth climbers are and by the sheer fun you bring to a gym through the positive vibes and non-stop enthusiasm that you exuded. The group of competitors I witnessed on Saturday will play a large part in pushing the US climbing scene in the decade to come and we're ecstatic to be a part of that journey with you. Next year will be bigger and better and hopefully you'll come back in the mean time to pull on some of our plastic!
