Items to Bring (Limit one Duffle Bag, 1 Day Pack, 1 Sleeping Bag/ person)

Required

  • Climbing Gear- Shoes, - Harness, - Chalk Bag, -Belay Device, - Locking Carabiner
  • Tent (arrange to share before we leave)
  • Sleeping Bag and Pillow
  • Sleeping Pad
  • 2 One Liter Water Bottles
  • Day Pack (2500 cubic inches or larger)
  • Towel
  • Sneakers
  • Bathing Suit
  • Eating Utensils- Fork, Spoon, Knife, Plate
  • Rain Jacket
  • Toiletries
  • At least 4 changes of clothing (cotton or wicking material)
    - Include at least one pair of shorts and 1 pair of long pants
  • Warm jacket, sweater, sweatshirt
  • Flashlight
  • Duffle Bag (for clothes, etc)
 Recommended
  • Light Hiking Boots (regular hiking boots are also okay)
  • Bug Spray
  • Sunscreen
  • Old Sneakers (for wading)
  • Reading material
  • Headlamp (replaces the flashlight)
  • Spending money (at parents' discretion)
  • Energy bars (Clif Bars, Power Bars, etc)
  • First Aid Kit
  • Climbing Helmet
  • Additional Climbing Gear (Rope, Quickdraws, Grigri)
  • Camp Chair (Crazy Creek or comparable)
Notes on Food
The cost of food per day will cover breakfast, lunch, and dinner, which will be prepared at the campground each day by the campers. It will also cover at least 2 meals out. Kids are encouraged to bring extra money for snacks and sundry, and potential rainy day activities (such as the movies)

Volunteers will receive:
 * lunch,

 * chances to win a gift certificates for evolv shoes,
 * a 40% off any item in the shop after the competition, that day only.
 * Judges get the best seats in the house!
We will have substitutes available so you can watch your climbers. We will provide training for judges before climbing starts.

Format  On sight, 3 climbs, 4 minutes climbing, 1 minute transition, 5 minutes rest. At least 1 lead climb for Categories A,B & JR. Warm-up in bouldering area.
The Stakes Top 10 in each Category receive automatic invites to the Divisional Championship on June 18-19, 2016 at Vertical Adventures in Columbus, OH.
