USA Climbing announces changes for 2015/2016 Seasons

USA Climbing has announced several changes for the upcoming 2015/2016 competitive seasons. Most significant is the geographical reorganization of Regions and Divisions. Beginning in September of 2015, the number of Regions will increase from 15 to 16 and the number of Divisions will increase from 5 to 8. Pennsylvania will be part of Region 702 along with New Jersey and Ohio. Our Division will include Region 702 encompassing Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland and Delaware.

For championships, The top 10 in each region will earn automatic invitations to divisional championships and the top 6 in each division will earn automatic invitations to national championships. To accommodate the additional competitors at Youth Bouldering Nationals, two walls will be used.

Additionally, the acronyms ABS, SCS and CCS will be retired.  The seasons will be known as "Bouldering", "Sport & Speed" and "Collegiate".
