A "rolling isolation" will be used in Preliminaries at the ABS Divisional Championship. With a rolling isolation, competitors are assigned an "isolation check-in time." Competitors may report into isolation prior to their assigned check-in time, but, no later than the assigned time. At the discretion of the Chief Judge, failure to report by the assigned time may result in the disqualification of the competitor. There are no route previews.

For the final round, rolling isolation will not be used. All competitors must check-in before isolation closes.Top 7 in each category receive automatic invitations to nationals in Colorado Springs, CO, March 1-3 2013.

9:15 A.M. – Isolation CLOSES for all competitors.
9:00 A.M. – Judges meeting.
9:30 A.M. – Climbing begins for: FYD, MYC, FYB, MYB.
10:40 A.M. – Climbing begins for: MYD, FYC, FYA, MYA
11:30 A.M. – Climbing begins for: FJR, MJR.
Awards will follow shortly after the conclusion of climbing.
All 1st round National Championship invitees must accept their invitation within 72 hours of the conclusion of the Divisional Championships at http://www.absnationals.org/08/register/index.htm
At the conclusion of the 1st round invitation registration deadline, USAC will post a 1st Round Invitation Acceptance Chart. Competitors who have not accepted their 1st round invitation will have an additional 24-hour window to register and accept their invitation for additional fee of $100.00.
The only notification for 2nd and 3rd round invitees is via the posted invitation chart on the USAC website. Competitors receiving a 2nd or 3rd round invitation have 48 hours, from the posting of the invitation chart, to register for the event.
